Customs Manager

Manpower are currently working with an internationally recognised forwarding expert looking to expand their team with the appointment of a Customs Manager.

Our Client holds a global presence and has specialised in International trade for over 30 years and has recently experienced an intense growth period. With an excellent pathway for career progression, our client has a dedicated in-house training team to provide a wide-range of specialist and technical training alongside cutting-edge in-house IT solutions.

Widely regarded as an expert in their field, our client therefore requires candidates have previous experience as a Customs Manager or Supervisor and has a strong background dealing with customs queries

Our client offers an excellent base salary which is negotiable dependant on experience, alongside an excellent healthcare scheme and other perks to enjoy outside of work.

Day-to-day duties may include:

• Reporting directly to the Operations Director
• Implementing KPIs and team targets
• Dealing with top-level HMRC queries
• Dealing with customer queries
• Sense check/ spot-check declarations by operatives
