An awesome opportunity for a highly innovative skilled E-Commerce Copywriter to work for an international company based in Uxbridge. The E-Commerce Copywriter role daily rate is £200-£300 negotiable for the right candidate. You will be required 2-3 days per week for 1-2 months.

The E-Commerce Copywriter will produce quality copy and manage the creation of copy content for the EMEA e-commerce sites. Demonstrating credible brand and product knowledge whilst maintaining the brand tone of voice. With a focus on the customer's journey you will be a magnificent communicator and a strategic thinker.

Skills

Media or Journalism qualification

5 years plus of working in the industry

Understanding of content SEO best practice, keyword search, Google Keywords Planner

Familiar with providing copywriting for e-commerce sites

Strong innovative approach to creative writing with the ability to adopt the brand tone of voice

Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation

Excellent attention to detail

Working industry knowledge of content management and e-commerce systems would be advantageous

Ability to generate ideas for creating engaging editorial content

Familiarity working with Design teams to produce copy - within design specifications

Liaising with multiple stakeholders such as Product Teams, Legal, IP and Environmental teams

Basic knowledge of HTML will be advantageous

Duties

Write and produce engaging copy for the e-commerce site including product descriptions, banners, promos, category pages, editorial articles, T&C's support, emails and social media. Ensuring all copy is search engine optimised.

Proof read copy content across the department, including Freelancers and adhering to the brand voice guidelines

Capable of producing product copy that reflects a strong awareness of what the customer needs to know

Liaise with multiple stakeholders

Upload all approved copy on to the e-commerce and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.

Edit copy content directly on the e-commerce platform regularly

Maintain relationships with internal E- Commerce teams HQ and external with Freelance copywriters and 3rd party marketing agencies

A proactive approach, suggesting ideas to continuously improve the quality of product copy

Generate ideas and produce engaging editorial content

Work with freelance copywriters- briefing and reviewing their work
