Department Leader- Plants

We have an amazing opportunity for a retail leader to join a continuously growing and fantastic team. You will be supporting the Department Manager by overseeing the day to day running of the hardy plant section in a local Garden Centre that holds a prominent position within the industry.

We are looking for someone with outstanding face to face customer service skills, who has a passion for retail and can use their creative skills to encourage and boost sales! Great training will be offered along with career progression opportunities…

A competitive salary up to £23,000 for a 40-hour week (weekdays and weekends) along with free parking on site is being offered for this role.

Your Responsibilities:

• Use your creativity to deliver aspirational merchandising and effective product placement
• Use your product knowledge to assist and advise customers
• Always provide excellent customer service
• Recognise sales opportunities and act upon them
• Develop and motivate your team to boost sales

You will need:

• Experience working in a horticultural retail environment
