Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for an Assistant Customer Account Manager based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 Months to start ASAP, working a 36.25-hour week. This role is paying up to £30,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world-leading global organisation as an Assistant Customer Account Manager. As an Assistant Customer Account Manager your primary aim is provide and maintain information to fulfil the customer plan. You will be supporting the CAMs on a day-to-day basis and meeting your customer's requirements.
Responsibilities (to include):
- Promotional Support - updating the plan, translating the plan into numbers, monitoring the plan versus actuals
- Creating and tracking Provisions and Accruals
- Joint Business Planning Tracking
- Processing invoices
- Price accuracy
- Customer administration
Accountabilities:
- Promotional administration
- Price file maintenance and query resolution
- Customer administration
- Invoices to be paid on time
Essential Skills & Experience:
- High level of educational +/or professional qualifications or a proven track record in a customer environment
- Applicants must have strong Excel skills with the ability to produce and use VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables (an assessment will be held using Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and focus
- Previous experience of business processes, ideally financial. Processing invoices, nominating promotions, managing accruals/rebates, working within an organisational structure
- Time management and prioritisation examples - You will have a lot of tasks in the role, knowing what to do first is key as sometimes not everything can be done at once
- Willingness to ask questions when unsure
- Must possess good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workload, delivering to a deadline with accuracy.
- Proactivity - as well as learning quickly, proactively chase deadlines, stakeholders and hold themselves to account
- Strong communication and analytical skills are required along with an ability to build and maintain good, immediate and cross-functional working relationships.
Desirable skills & Experience:
- Experience of FMCG or a similar type of role in a different industry
- Ability to understand the wider picture, why what they are doing matters and the effect it has on others - this is a skill we see in our best Commercial Executives
- Experience of dealing with customers/external stakeholders
