A leading international data company based in Staines is seeking a Communications Manager.
The Communications Manager role is a Fixed Term Contract role, full-time, they will consider a daily rate salary up to £346 per day, with the possibility of going Perm. You will be joining the Communications team and as the Communications Manager you will be covering the EMEA region.
Liaising with the Global Corporate Communications you will be at the forefront, raising the company's brand visibility regionally. Driving product and customer focused coverage through leadership at a local and global level. Your PR strategy will illustrate an understanding of the media landscape and current influencer market. You will be apt at storytelling, with excellent attention to detail, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. With the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
Knowledge and understanding of the technology landscape with cloud, storage, A.I and machine learning is crucial. Your story telling will convey digestible messages that encompass various viewpoints in the ever-changing tech space to an audience that is constantly evolving and learning.
As a Communications Manger covering the EMEA region you will be self-motivated with the ability to work in a team. This role will require international travel as and when required.
Skills
7 -10 years of working within enterprise technology in PR, in an agency or corporate environment
Working knowledge of the enterprise storage or infrastructure
Stakeholder knowledge and understanding
Strategic thinker
Understanding of PR planning and the implementation process
Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
Project Management and decision-making skills
The skill and knowledge of leading and managing PR programmes across the EMEA region
Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a global team environment
Highly organised and with the ability to multi-task
Great at building and maintaining internal and external relationships
Executing social media strategies
As second EMEA language is advantageous, but not essential
Ability and knowledge to manage direct reports - team management
Job Duties
Align the PR strategy with the corporate goals to nurture and grow the brand awareness and their technology
Partner with field marketing managers and customer's references to drive customer case studies, press releases and media activity
You will provide PR counsel to internal clients across functions whilst maintaining key stakeholder relationships
Mange the PR infrastructure including RFPs as needed, negotiating contracts, quarterly and yearly goal reporting
Accountable for content and transmission of all comms including media lists, press releases, FAQs, customer and press backgrounders and awards
Monitor the landscape and propose PR strategies as appropriate
Lead social media strategy in EMEA
Support EMEA executives in comms initiatives as and when required
