Contracts Manager
A facilities company in Milton Park are looking for Contracts Manager / Hard Services Manager to carry out technical and managerial duties to ensure the contract deliverables are met working with
on site staff and specialist contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
.Work effectively with other business sectors and support functions to promote and facilitate the
achievement of company and corporate objectives.
.Responsible for the people management of direct reports on site including annual appraisals
and reviews.
.Ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is carried out at the highest possible standard
.Proactive ownership of the quality delivery and maintenance issues within the buildings you
control in your geographical area
.Record Documentation retention
.Management, mentoring and development of staff supporting maintenance activities.
.Liaise with the Facilities Manager and Site Managers
.Ensure all operations are complaint with statutory or regulatory requirements.
.Prepare, plan, implement and modify maintenance and procurement programmes to ensure that
100% availability of service to the site. Organise all the appropriate resources to ensure the
delivery of the programme as planned.
.Ensure that processes are in place to assure the prompt provision and efficient delivery of all
services at the specified time to the standards laid down in specified contract.
.Maintain formal and informal communications with Client Managers related to service activities,
including review meetings.
.Ensure all processes are in place to monitor the progress and quality of works and recognise
potential problems taking necessary actions in a timely manner.
.Exchanges maintenance, technical project-related information with specialists, non-specialists,
and negotiate with contractors and supplies.
.Management of the issue of risk assessments and method statements for all jobs and the
obtaining of work permits before any work can commence.
.Carrying out site visits in response to client enquiries or orders, specifying what work is required.
This will include requesting drawings or making drawings of the site, assessing any risks and
obtaining sufficient information to ensure that quotations can be raised and work can be carried
out.
You need to have good knowledge of statutory compliance and current legislation, regulations and standards, understanding if HVAC Systems and BMC and SFG20 knowledge, with the ability to read, interpret, utilize and train on manuals, schematics and control circuits.
