Manpower is currently recruiting for three UK Sanctions Analyst on behalf of our client, A large multinational financial services corporation. This is a temporary role to the end of the year, and will be working 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

This position is part of the UK AML team responsible for supporting the continuing development and maintenance of a comprehensive anti-money laundering and Sanctions compliance program within the AESEL and AEPSL entities of the organisation.

Investigation and management of potential sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) matches for the UK Market, taking all necessary action when positive matches are found.

§ Review Sanction alerts and draw conclusions as to whether the alert is a positive or false positive match.

§ Manage positive matches to their ultimate conclusion, including monitoring accounts and arranging for their closure.

§ Providing MI on alert volumes daily.

§ Conducting PEP and SIP risk assessments to determine the level of Money Laundering risk posed by the customer to American Express

Knowledge & Skills
What critical knowledge and competencies are needed to successfully perform this position (e.g. word processing skills, sales experience, demonstrated leadership, specific educational requirement or technical training, etc.)? How many years of each are needed?

§ Strong Relationship, Communication and Influencing skills.
§ Analytical skills
§ Excellent written English
§ Knowledge of ICSS, ICC, GMS, GCP businesses units preferable.
§ Ability to present effective, proportionate and relevant MI to the Deputy MLRO;
