Lifting and Slinging Operative

We have an opportunity for a lifting and slinging operative for a position within a well-established engineering manufacturer in Leeds. The role will be for a minimum of 12 months and had the potential to last longer, working straight days Monday to Friday with an early Friday finish.

Your role will involve moving heavy loads around the factory and loading/unloading HGV vehicles. You will be an experienced lifter and slinger within an engineering workshop environment and have previously operated overhead cranes. You will require a current counterbalance FLT license and have a good knowledge of the Health and Safety requirements of lifting heave loads.

In return you will receive a competitive rate of pay and overtime is available paid at time and a half. There is the option of being paid Paye or self-employed, free parking, subsidised canteen and 33 days holiday per annum.
