Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our client in Cowdenbeath, Fife.

You will need to have an orientation towards Electrical and instrumentation work on a manufacturing site and a high level of familiarity with revamp / Brown field scope would be advantageous.

You will be:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and finalising projects according to the specifications and deadlines, all while keeping the project within budget. Creating and Reporting project status and allocating resources as needed.

Defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns.

Communicating and interfacing with all levels across organizational lines, including the business units.

You may also partner with external vendors based on the nature of the project.

Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position. Project Managers on Expert Level is usually responsible for large, highly integrated projects.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organisational skills.

MS Project or other project management tools.

Consensus building skills.

Behavioural Skills: creates ownership, drives functional excellence, promotes productive impact, effectively manages external relationships

Technical Skills: contracting / subcontracting, design & engineering management, execution planning, cost estimating, planning & scheduling, project controls, cost & schedule methods & data management, quality management
