My Client are a leader in their field & manufacture a high end product locally at their Wigan Plant - this is distributed across leisure sites in the UK & now growing in their exported market into Europe too. We are now seeking a Purchasing Administrator to support the Purchasing Department and at market related exhibitions across the UK.

This is a role that will give you an excellent opportunity to deliver & grow your experience.

What will your day look like:

  • You will be responsible for processing requisitions, after sales and return notes into purchase orders.
  • Processing of Stock check sheets and convert into purchase orders. Update system prices query / highlight any price discrepancies.
  • Checking & logging order confirmation/acknowledgements.
  • Schedule / re-schedule deliveries in line with changes in production. Obtain prices and update orders/system accordingly.
  • Expedite overdue orders and Liaise with suppliers on supply matters.
  • File all documentation and archive when necessary.
  • Check and resolve invoice queries and credit notes.
  • Booking of delivery notes on to the system.
  • Support Team with annual Stock take.

What do you need to succeed in the role of Purchasing Administrator?

  • Experience of using Syspro or other ERP system would be an advantage, but training can be given
  • Should be Excel and Word Proficient with a good background in all Microsoft Office products
  • You will have excellent customer service skills
