Head of Production/ Production Director

Manpower are currently working on an exclusive basis with a globally recognised organisation whom are looking for a Head of Production/ Production Director to be based out of their Coventry office.

This role is responsible for the production processing and general services that reflects the company's commitment to the professional execution of high quality, innovative and profitable custom fabrication delivery. Responsible for the Design to build processes in the fabrication shop, providing guidance on Design elements and construction methods and materials, reviewing and approving Engineering and Architectural plans and working with the production team to build execution plans. The Head of Production/ Production Director will be responsible for the Manufacturing to a standard of quality that establishes this company as the premier provider in the EMEA market. The Head of Production/ Production Director will lead the components section of warehouse operations including bulk shell scheme and custom shell scheme, their role will be to establish best in class operating processes that deliver the right components to the customer specification the first time every time. Working with the warehouse manager, they will ensure all events component requirements are met with the highest quality and efficiency.

You will communicate with Sales and Director & Project Management to ensure the customer's vision is represented in the design and build stages of the production process. Manage on a daily basis project allocation, production flows, and the managing of permanent and temporary personnel across seasonal peaks and lows whilst developing plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees in line with the commercial targets set within the business year, reporting any variances through agreed processes. Must be able to track direct costs on every job and budget upcoming jobs.
