Auto CAD Technician

A great opportunity has arisen for an Auto CAD Technician to work full time at our client's site in Northampton. The working hours are full time 8.00am - 5.00pm 40 hours a week paying £15p/h. This role is temporary until December 2019 (6 months) with potential to go permanent.

Responsibilities

• Support with all technical enquires from Customers, Suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise and resolve all external and internal technical enquiries.
• Analysis of customer requirements, through data collection, review and collaboration with third parties.
• Preparing tender documentation, with drawings, quotations and bill of materials.
• Producing accurate designs to the relevant regulatory standards and customer requirements.
• Designing and drawing 2D layout illustrations.
• Designing bespoke new product solutions.
• Producing bills of materials.
• To support other members of the business with technical knowledge.
• Produce technical information sheets/User instructions.

Experience and Skills

• Construction industry experience essential
• Auto CAD 2D experience essential
• 3D design desirable
• High communication skills
