Test Engineer

Manpower are looking for a Test Engineer to work for a large Engineering company working with global, defence, energy, space and intelligence & communications programmes.

It is the role of the Test & Commissioning Technician to install, commission, test and subsequently maintain equipment

You will be responsible for,

Set-up, configure and test existing equipment ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
Investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults.

Install, commission, test and subsequently maintain equipment when required.

Work with engineering and technical staff to develop new and existing equipment.

Essential Requirements:
Ability to read and understand drawings
Decision-making / problem solving skills
Strong self-management and organisation skills, and attention to detail
Strong presentation skills, confident speaker and professionally presented when interacting with customers
Flexible individual who is self-motivated and able to work well under own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK.
Candidates will need to undergo an internal BPSS check prior to gaining site access.
