Field Sales Executive- Travel and Expeditions

We have an amazing opportunity for a passionate individual to join an award-winning organisation that provides a once in a life time opportunity for students through volunteering projects in developing areas in Africa. You will be a part of the recruitment team that seeks new volunteers wishing to take part in one of these amazing projects, taking responsibility for building lasting relationships within our core markets; schools, colleges and youth developments etc. Whilst, delivering a passionate understanding of the reason the organisation does what they do!

This unique role will involve;

• Work closely with the marketing department to effectively maximise new enquired from target markets
• Handle new enquires, converting prospective volunteer groups to bookings
• Through effective presentations/telephone calls you will build relationships with key decision makers in the core market
• Conducting sales presentations with teachers, students and their parents
• Tailor exciting travel plans/journeys for individual groups to ensure their experience meets expectations and provides the project support needed.

What you will need:

• Two years experience in a sales role
• Proficient presentation/face to face meetings skills
• Experience working in at least one of the core markets
• IT skills and experience working with sales/CRM systems
• It would be beneficial to have experience of travel in Africa or International Volunteering
• It is desirable to have travel industry experience, however not essential
