CLASS 2 DRIVER TEMP TO PERM

Manpower Driving and Logistics Belfast, is currently recruiting for a full time HGV 2 (Class C) driver. The position is initially a temporary contract. Once a temporary assignment of 13 continuous weeks service is successfully completed the position will be made permanent.

Job Duties:

Daily checking of delivery vehicles including tail lift.
Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.
Following a specific route time schedule and making deliveries to customers.
Handling delivery dockets, paperwork and cash.Helping load and unloading the vehicle safely
Communicating with transport office staff and the telesales team.
Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling

Qualifications/Experience

Must be flexible with working hours.
HGV Class 2/ Category C licence with up to date cards including CPC and Digital Tachograph - preferably a clean licence
Comfortable with making multidrop deliveries with good geographical knowlege
Be able to work using your own initiative.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
