Planning Co-ordinator

Location: Newton-Le-Willows, Lancashire

Salary: Up to £24,000 DOE

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Permanent

My client supplies, installs and maintains industrial automatic door systems of the highest quality, offering a total lifetime management service. Due to their continued success and growth plans they are now looking to recruit a Planning Coordinator to join their team based in Newton-Le-Willows, Lancashire

Role:

The successful candidate will join their planning team which control nationwide engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning engineers' diaries for the current and forthcoming week.
  • Allocating reactive tasks which are received ad-hoc from clients throughout the day, prioritising emergency calls for non-trading and non-securing sites.
  • Scheduling planned maintenance visits for the following month.
  • Answering client telephone calls and dealing with their queries.
  • Providing client updates either by email, updating spreadsheets or updating clients' online portals.
  • Acting as on-call manager on a rota basis with the planning team where you are required to answer calls out of hours from our out of hours answering service when they require input from the on-call manager.

Skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of the UK service and maintenance industry.
  • Must be computer (MS Office) literate, specifically Word and Excel.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Planning experience.
  • Experience in the door industry is desirable.
  • Experience working with FM companies is desirable.
