We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to form part of a forward thinking, dynamic and dedicated team. The role will be a temporary position up until December 2019.

Duties will be to provide effective a secretarial, administrative, organisational and B2B customer facing service to the Senior KT & Business Engagement Manager and team.

Job Purpose:

Supporting the KTP Administrator in day to day administrative duties for BCU's Knowledge Transfer Partnership projects and KT administrative duties; managing and maintaining accurate information files, prepare documents, record meetings (take minutes), book appointments, monitoring all internal / external enquiries and the data on to a CRM system.

The candidate will have to ensure maximum productivity from the team by undertaking the following administrative duties and responsibilities:

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Excellent Communication Skills, processing B2B external customer enquires
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office packages
  • Experience of recording data; minute taking at meetings, transfer and monitoring data on to a CRM, managing and maintaining hard/e-files (filing, archiving)
  • Experience of managing diaries, organising meetings

  • Ability to build confidence, credibility and rapport with colleagues, partners and external customers / clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and client liaison skills.
  • Good team-worker
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Knowledge of computer packages such as word processing, spreadsheets and data-bases
  • Flexible approach

Person Specification:

  • A degree
  • Strong administrative skill and good I.T (spreadsheets, databases) and planning skills, having a track record of administrative duties in a client led environment
  • Experience of building B2B client relationships over the phone
  • Experience of managing diaries
