Junior HR Officer

Our Client is a fast-paced and growing international company, and they are rapidly becoming a significant player in the offshore wind industry. It is key to their business to have the right people at the right time and, at the moment, we are facing a particular busy time in the UK.

On a day to day basis you will be tasked to support the HR organisation in the UK with various HR tasks and be the first point of contact for UK employees. You will support the recruitment process when necessary, produce offer letters and employment contracts for all new hires in the UK. It will also be your responsibility to manage the full onboarding process and activities, ensuring the employees are sup up on the HR system, with the UK payroll team and the benefit providers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce all employment change letters
  • Ensure monthly payroll is coordinated and information is supplied to the UK payroll team in a timely manner
  • Management of the leaver process
  • Attend employee relations meeting and type up the meeting minutes, this involves and not limited to disciplinary, performance, grievance and absence review meetings
  • Responsible for the agenda, taking minutes and ensuring actions are completed for the Employee Forum
  • Review policies and procedures in line with legislation changes
  • Coordination of UK benefits, private medical and private dental
  • Organisation of yearly performance review, attending people review sessions to take minutes, coordination of yearly appraisals (MPA) and the merit process
  • Assistant in ad hoc projects
  • Updating the paper and electrical employee files

What We Expect from You?

Strong HR administration skills and experience from working in an HR department in a fast-moving environment. In this role, it is very important that you can build and develop strong relationships with stakeholders, and that you can support and challenge the organisation on HR-related matters. We also expect that you are willing to provide support as required within a busy HR function and in other areas of the business to support business needs. Preferably you will have or are working to CIPD Level 3.
