Production Technician

Job purpose: To provide support for the UK production & warehouse team.

key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Mechanical product assembly
• Modification of parts for production
• Assisting with packing and picking orders within the warehouse
• Assisting with organising and maintaining warehouse/production
• Continuous improvement projects as directed
• Assist with regular stock checks

Person profile - Personality: Self-motivated, Must be reliable, determined and able to

communicate with colleagues at all levels in the business. Use initiative. Keen to learn new ideas and methods, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with other members of staff and be

a team-player.

Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate effectively using both verbal and written skills. Good

attention to detail, be able to assemble mechanical items with direct instructions and printed

assembly instructions using basic hand tools.

Computer skills: Must be able to use basic computer packages. Must be able & willing to learn

how to use company internal software packages.

Education and Professional membership: Educated to GCSE level with passes in English

and Mathematics.

Business Skills : Experience within a production environment ideal. Basic experience with

identifying and using hand tools. Basic cable assembly (crimping, striping etc) and soldering

skills would be beneficial but not critical.
