Kitchen Porter / Pot Wash

We are recruiting for a Kitchen Porter/Pot Wash to work within a Central Production Unit in Cardiff.

Responsibilities include:

• Following the cleaning schedules for the kitchens, wash crockery and utensils as required and clean the section and associated areas as and when required
• Reporting any maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately
• Compliance with all Health and Safety, Food Hygiene policies
• Any other ad-hoc related duties in the area

Successful applicants will preferably have had previous experience of having worked as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Hand or Pot Washer or in a similar catering role.

You will either hold or be willing to work towards a valid Food Hygiene Safety Certificate.

You will be required to work between the hours of 6.00 am and 4.00 pm, Monday to Friday, however a flexible attitude to work is essential. It is a full time, temporary role offering an hourly rate of £8.21 per hour, increasing to £9.05 after 12 weeks.
