Logistics Coordinator

Manpower UK are currently recruiting on behalf of our Global Freight Company for a Logistics/Freight Coordinator to join their team in Grangemouth.

As the Logistics/Freight Coordinator you will oversee the import and Export of freight by Road, Sea and Air. Ideally you would have worked within a similar role. We are looking for candidate to have the following experience, how this is not essential as training and support will be provided:-

• Previous experience of using Cargo Wise
• Proficient in Excel
• Be able to use Outlook email system
• Additionally - previous experience in Shipping/Freight Forwarding an advantage#
• Liaising with customer and suppliers
• Preparing shipping documents
• Arranging bookings with Transport Companies (collections/deliveries)
• Handling / raising sales and purchase invoices (which would be done as part of Cargo Wise)
• Some knowledge of Export/Import documentation and procedures.
