IT Support Agent (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Our leading IT Client is looking to recruit a number of IT Service Desk Agents to join a new team in Newcastle. Ideally with previous experience in a customer service environment you will deliver a 1st line support service receiving incidents via telephone and email.
Responsibilities will include:
- Offering advice to end users on all areas of IT
- Actively troubleshoot to identify, assess, record, resolve and/or escalate incidents and service requests
- Help to improve users confidence in the use of computer software, being empathetic to a variety of new and experienced learners needs
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of IT and be proficient in the use of Microsoft software packages. You will have excellent communication skills, a professional attitude and a good telephone manner. You will also have the ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
The office is open Monday to Friday 6:45am - 9:00pm and candidates should be fully flexible to cover various shift patterns between these hours.
