Job Title: Estimator

Reporting To: Operations Manager

Salary: £30,000

Manpower is looking for an experienced Estimator looking for the next step in their career to join one of our most valued clients, a speciality manufacturing company. To be based at their state-of-the-art facility site in Sheffield, your role would be to produce and submit various pricing to customers which satisfies the clients requirements.

As an Estimator, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and be responsible for the following:

• The production of estimations and proposals to meet agreed time frames
• Look after large tender opportunities from start to finish
• Attend tender meetings with clients
• Prepare and produce hand over documents to ensure every requirement is met
• Provide estimated labour hours and material to ensure accurate manufacturing routes
• Work closely with management to ensure budgeted sales and profit margins are achieved
• On receipt of tender make sure client is completely happy with it before moving forward to manufacture

Skills & Experienced Required

• Experience working within an estimating role
• A background within the manufacturing industry
• Excellent word and excel skills
• Flexible with the ability to learn new processes
• Ability to manage your own workload to ensure you meet timescales
• Healthy and Safety conscious

Pay and Benefits

• Company pension scheme
• Monday to Friday 8.30- 17.00 (Every other Friday 2pm finish)
