Press Brake Operator/ Sheet Metal Worker

A opportunity for an experienced Press Brake Operator/ Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy manufacturing company based in Haverhill.

The Press Brake Operator/ Sheet Metal Worker will be hands-on with all aspects of the job as part of a collaborative and busy team. The role need someone with all round experience and the savvy to work out what is required for each job. You will need 2-3 years very good Press Brake Operator/ Sheet Metal Worker experience gained in a manufacturing or production company.

Duties include:

• Preparation work such as cleaning, drilling and tapping, as well as finishing work to provide the finished article.
• Understanding customer drawings, setting and stripping CNC Press Brake, dress & clean to produce finished product.
• Identify any potential maintenance requirements to maximise machine utilisation.
• Ensure good manufacturing and production housekeeping practices are maintained including Health, Safety and Environmental issues

In return, you will be offered 39 Hours week with either a; 4 day working week (Monday - Thursday) or 5 day working week - depending on preference.

This is a permanent job in a busy manufacturing company based in Haverhill, Suffolk. Pay is £14 p.h. with full company benefits after passing 3-month probation.
