Role Description

The Recruiting team at Dropbox is growing! The Recruitment Researcher will partner with Recruiters and Dropbox leadership helping hiring leaders define, launch and execute on recruitment strategies. As Recruitment Researcher you will apply a range of research and analytical search methodologies to help us map the best and most relevant talent in the global marketplace. The data and insights you generate will make valuable contributions across many parts of our business and in many key hiring decisions.


* Design and execute strategies for identifying key resources across Technical (Engineering,Product Management, and Design) and Business (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal) organizations.
* Provide market intelligence to hiring teams and leadership that will help enhance the quality of hiring decisions.
* Partner with Recruiters to conduct launch meetings, create robust job and candidate specifications, target lists and present leadership candidates.
* Research and identify prospective candidates for active searches through targeted company research, industry networking, and internal sources.
* Approach and engage future Dropboxers with personalized and compelling messaging
* Strategically build and maintain a network of passive potential future candidates.
* Deliver qualified diverse pipelines for active roles, as well as actively network and establish positive relationships with diverse candidates and organizations.
* Analyze efficiency of efforts through data analysis and reporting including search progress reports, status reports, and market trend/feedback reports for presentation to Senior Executives.
* Partner across a multiple functions to create relevant, compelling, personalized and high-touch people experiences that align with Dropbox's values and mission.


* Ideally you will have experience of sourcing and/or recruiting - preferably within an executive search firm or in-house environment.
* Experience working in a research/market analysis environment would be desirable.
* In-depth understanding of market mapping, talent research, and candidate identification.
* Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills. High attention to detail.
* Experience identifying and engaging passive Director level candidates.
* Experience using talent and market insights and data to influence executive-level audiences.
* Outstanding teamwork and multitasking skills.
* Ability to thrive and prioritize in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
* Ability to understand & interpret complex business needs and business structures. Knowledge of core functions of engineering, product and design organization.
