Manpower is excited to be working with our client to recruit an operator for their waste management site within the NHS. Our client deals with all waste products produced by the hospital. This is a full time role with an immediate start at a pay rate of £9.50 per hour.

About the role

Within your role as operator you will be self-sufficient with a variety of duties. One day you will be driving a 3.5 tonne van picking up waste on and off site. Another day you will be operating basic machinery within the department. This is a full time role with a 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern. This means this role will require weekday and weekend shifts with a variety of night and day shifts. The shifts will be 12 hours. Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous, but is not essential as all applications will be considered. Full training will be provided for this role. This role will require a DBS check.

About the candidate

To be successful in this role you must be comfortable working in a challenging envrionment as the duties of this role will involve manual work. A full driving licence is required as driving work is essential to this role. You must be able to work independently and on your own initiative. This role has an immediate start so we are looking for someone with a short or no notice period.
