As a qualified Mechanic, you will be servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of makes and models of commercial fleet vehicles - cars / vans / trailers, to achievable targets within a warm and modern environment. The technician shall undertake all classes of skilled work including inspection, maintenance, repair and services. Light Technician desirable to have MOT Tester and some HGV experience.

Key accountabilities

• Body repair, refinishing and painting
• Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
• Welding and metal work
• Carry out inspections and repair of workshop equipment as directed
• Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment

You will receive brand-specific training to ensure that you are up to speed with the latest industry developments. Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

You will receive a tablet to manage your work and you are also allowed to take this home for personal use. This is a Permanent role working a night shift Monday to Thursday between hours 20:45 - 07:00, (annual salary £32,439 plus shift allowance £42,706).
