An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue-chip IT company, is currently seeking Project Managers based at their Leading Software customer site in Newbury. This is a full-time, temporary role start ASAP.

Job description:

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to Programme Workstreams to include RAID, reporting, liaising with all management levels, meeting management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the collation and reporting of workstream and programme progress reports to Management.
  • Liaise with all project managers to ensure weekly project status reporting is provided in a timely manner.
  • Manage the administration associated with the workstream - meeting room bookings, ensure that Agendas have been mapped out for meetings, Agenda and Meeting preparation included in the meeting invitation
  • Provide communication to the business on progress and status of the workstream being managed and aligned through the PMO.
  • Update and maintain the risk log, action log, decisions log and issue register on behalf of the workstream
  • Track workstream dependencies
  • Ensure that communication is cascaded to Workstream team members.
  • Manage the central documentation library ensuring that templates are current and available.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by Management and Executives.
  • Support the PMO in the development of new documentation.
  • Manage the PMO mailbox.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO's strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables
  • Monitor Programme reporting
  • Ensure adherence to Programme standards re Governance for tracking and audit purposes
