Machine Operative

Manpower is currently recruiting a machine operative to join a team based in Coatbridge on a temp to perm basis. Our client is a forward thinking and fast growing business in the printing industry. They are looking for a new addition to their team who can learn and develop with the company. You will be required to work day shift to complete full training prior to joining the backshift team (shift allowance paid).

This position will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm for training (approx. 3 months) then backshift Monday - Thursday 1.45pm - 9.45pm & Friday 1.45pm - 8pm.

Main responsibilities:

• Operating various machinery (with training and guidance).
• Quality assurance/check.
• Factory maintenance.
• Support the team.
• Receive deliveries.
• Manual handing.

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience in the printing industry.
• Previous machine operating experience.
• The want to learn and develop.
• Own transport.
