A unique company providing specialist acoustic consultancy advice along with the design, manufacture and testing of new noise control solutions, is currently looking to recruit a Junior CAD Technician.
Working for a progressive and ambitious company with a great team of people that work exceptionally well together. Our client, are an SME who have been specialising in the bespoke design and supply of noise control hardware for the past 30 years.
Whilst the work is challenging, diverse training within the role will be provided and there is the opportunity of a long-term career path within the company as your role and the company develops.
The role would mainly be office based but could also involve visits to working sites to measure up and inspect areas prior to the detailed design development of a scheme.

The ideal candidate would possess the following:
Skills and Qualifications
" Proficient using Solidworks 3D Software
" Proficient using Autodesk 2D AutoCAD/Revit.
" Familiar with Microsoft Office products
" Experience in engineering design and manufacture, typically HNC/HND or higher
" Full clean driving licence
" CSCS visitor card
Personal Attributes
" Good communicator
" Able to liaise effectively with colleagues, suppliers and clients
" Diligent and reliable
" High Attention to detail
Due to expanding their use of 3D design software within the business for the wide range of commercial and high end residential projects they work on, the position requires as a minimum - proficient use of Autocad LT 2015 (experience and competence in Revit would be a significant advantage as would prior experience with mechanical services design/drawing). Candidates should also have good numeracy and computer skills, be self motivated, diligent and have the ability to work as part of a dedicated team. Knowledge of engineering principles would also be an advantage along with material properties, construction methods and manufacturing processes.
