An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Manufacturing Quality Analyst based at their prestigious facility in Port Sunlight. This is a full-time temporary ongoing role, working a 38 hour week. This role is paying £29,503 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Required: A multi-skilled quality professional with an all-round skill base in FMCG production.

Previous experience with Cleaning In Place systems, RCA tools and a logical thinker will be a bonus. Someone who is very comfortable working safely with minimum direction (after training) to deliver project-based activities on time to agreed KPIs. Individuals are expected to take responsibility, be skilled, motivated and committed to delivering business objectives and the continual development of people.

KEY AREAS OF FOCUS

  • Support the streamlining of cost of quality
  • Initiate OOS notifications and follow up Root Cause Analysis as required
  • Implement hygiene improvements and maintain validation schedules
  • Support installation and maintenance of control charts
  • Provide support cover in raw material and finished product laboratories (this will be trained)
  • Conduct audits of sourcing unit in different areas
  • Demonstrate good knowledge and use of SAP system (QM)
  • Support stock ordering
  • Ensure 5S standards are clearly defined and followed

  • KEY SKILLS

    • Degree in science related discipline or significant analytical experience within manufacturing
    • Previous experience in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Tools
    • SAP beneficial
    • SPC knowledge desirable
