Service Advisor (Automotive)

A position has become available for a Service Advisor to join a multi-award-winning automotive group at their headquarters in Weston-Super-Mare. Working for the largest car supermarket in the South West you will be part of a well-established and highly successful organisation who continue to grow the business and upskill their valued employees. As a Service Advisor you will be the key liaison between the customer and the service department, you will enhance the customers overall experience and provide regular status updates with regards to issues identified, costings and time scales in an efficient and professional manor to compliment the other departments within the business and also have the opportunity to earn bonuses on sold products and services with an OTE of £26,000.

The Role:

  • Contribute to the overall customer journey from initial point of contact through to identifying their needs, advising them and processing payment or completing a booking for service.
  • Act as the key point of contact between the customer and the service department, ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently.
  • Liaise with the service department and work closely with the Technicians to provide customers with status updates and keep them informed throughout the journey.
  • Upsell and cross sell products and services, identify customer needs and promote where possible to maximise revenue.
  • Follow up with customers, enhance their experience and outlook on the company whilst always striving to gain repeat business and referrals.
  • Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30 and alternate Saturday's 08:00-13:00.

The Requirements:

  • Automotive industry experience in a similar / identical position (Preferred)
  • Demonstratable customer service skills, able to confidently communicate face to face and via telephone.
  • Possess strong IT user skills, competent with Microsoft packages, booking systems and CRM systems.
  • Educated to GCSE Level (Maths and English) Or NVQ Equivalent
  • Administration skills, able to deal with multiple customers' orders at one time and effectively organise customer collections and drop off's and all associated paperwork.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
