Emergency Preparedness Administrator
Resilient emergency arrangements are an essential part of operating our clients site. We are currently seeking a self and highly motivated individual to support the Emergency Preparedness Engineer (EPE) within the Quality Management Group. This is a continuously evolving role that supports the EPE in the development, coordination, maintenance and administration of the sites emergency preparedness response plans.
- Management and organisation of emergency exercises/training events.Point of contact in the absence of the Emergency Preparedness Engineer as required.Production of communications material to support the administration of the Emergency Scheme.Support and Coordinate the emergency scheme role holders (ECC) training.Representative for the site on external facing forums (such as the Emergency Planning Consultative Committee (EPCC) and the Emergency Preparedness Review Group (EPRG).Delivery of improvement projects relating to Emergency Preparedness facilities and equipment.Gathering and monitoring data to ensure arrangements and business continuity risks remain compliant.Acts as an umpire during emergency exercises providing expert feedback to participants.Processes the updates for the Emergency HandbookProviding support to the EPE to maintain and progress the sites emergency arrangements.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience
- Managing projects and a proven track record of delivery.The ability to interface with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders.A sense of personal ownership and accountability and evidence of the ability to work independently.IT skills, with a good working knowledge of all the Microsoft Office applications.Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.Skilled at undertaking detailed work, and the ability to deliver an accurate end product.Knowledge of Emergency Preparedness or expereince in a contingency management role would be beneficial, but is not essential as full training will be provided.Displays emotional intelligence, and the ability to effectively influence within the organisation
