Global Strategy & Innovation Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Global Strategy & Innovation Manager based at their prestigious facility in Blackfriars. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 4 months, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £69,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

The Smile brand (Signal, Pepsodent, Mentadent) is one of our client's Billion brands, with leading positions across the globe. The Smile brand has not only been a key growth driver for the Oral Care category but also one of the flagship brands to bring our Personal Care vision to life. For more than 50 years, the Smile brand has brought its mission of improving oral health around the world to life, reaching millions of parents and children through its programs with schools, dentist, NGOs and the World Dental Federation (FDI). Besides the huge opportunities for market development, the Oral Care category is going through an incredibly exciting time of premiumization and individualisation of needs, with consumers evolving their routines beyond the traditional toothpaste and toothbrushes. Therapeutics is now the fastest segment in the markets and a priority for our client's Oral Care.

This role is part of the team that will lead innovation for Smile Therapeutics globally and will focus on developing a portfolio strategy & innovation roadmap for the brand, including new business models.

Main purpose

The role focuses on developing a winning proposition for Smile Therapeutics for our developed markets. Key role responsibilities include:

• Bringing therapeutic trends to the brand
• Crafting the therapeutics portfolio strategy & innovation roadmap for Smile Therapeutics
• Developing the concept, visual and pack identity for Smile Therapeutics range
• Developing the right products to win in Therapeutics
• Developing a new business model focused on pharmacy, and e-com

Business skills

• Proven track record in crafting successful concepts and impactful pack designs.
• Strong experience in working with markets to localise global plans.
• Ideally Personal care experience.
• And the bonus would be local experience with new business model
