Residential Support Worker

Manpower is currently recruiting for Support Workers to work within West Sussex County Council establishments based within Bognor Regis who provide care and support, and also some respite and Day Centre stays, for vulnerable Adults with physical disabilities, mental health or dementia.

We are offering on-going work to include various shifts throughout the week; shifts include earlies/lates/day/weekend shifts or maybe you would consider working Mon - Fri 07:00 - 09:00 to assist customers with personal care, assist with breakfast and assist with dressing them in readiness to accompany them to a Day Centre, whereby you will be working with throughout the day until they return to their establishment* These will be on-going guaranteed hours to support a busy team**

As a Support Worker your role will involve supporting and encouraging customers in day to day activities and duties, along with personal care duties.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of safeguarding and processes, good communication and interpersonal skills, preferably with a minimum of 6 months experience working with vulnerable adults. NVQ Level 2+ or relevant equivalent qualification desired, suitable training can be provided.
