We are looking for a candidate to ensure customer relationships are maintained and developed through proactive, efficient and courteous customer service delivery.



Main Responsibilities



Customer Service:-

  • To manage the requirements of nominated customers
  • To process and maintain customer orders in an accurate and timely manner whilst ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  • To record and investigate root causes of OTIF failures
  • To log and action all new account enquires
  • To log and process all new artwork administration
  • To liaise with internal departments as necessary
  • To liaise with external sales teams as necessary
  • To respond to and carry out ad-hoc job related tasks as required


Teamwork

  • To develop and maintain good communication and working relationships with internal and external customers
  • To demonstrate support for the CS Manager and lead by example to the team, promoting teamwork and contributing to the overall achievement of departmental objectives
  • To assist and support peer group and provide a positive, working example to the rest of the team through these effective relationships.


Knowledge & Understanding

  • To continually seek to learn, understand and follow company policies & procedures
  • To proactively continuously develop and maintain knowledge, understanding and awareness of company's products and processes.
  • To develop and foster the shared values of the company.
  • To continually seek to develop commercial awareness and the wider implications on actions and decisions internally & externally.

Job Accountability's:

  • The job holder should be adequately trained for the job function, including training in relation to Health Safety and Environment obligations.
  • Ensure departmental coverage during periods of absence and develop a meaningful succession plan to cover key areas. The succession plan should be updated to reflect any changes to manpower within the department.
  • The job holder may be required to undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required of him / her in the post, the department mentioned above or in the company.

Personal Requirements

Skills

  • Computer literate using an ERP system (BPCS is desirable)
  • Confident telephone manner

Knowledge/Qualifications/Education

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable experience

  • Has worked in a customer service role in a fast paced, manufacturing environment

Behavioural characteristics

  • Must be a team player that's able to use their initiative
  • Able to problem solve
  • Able to work under pressure
