PROJECT: Arizona abortion laws and sex education/contraception provision

THE PROJECT AND STUDENT
The Centre for American Legal Studies at BCU School of Law is recruiting two student researchers to conduct initial research into the detail and legal history of provisions regulating the provision of sex education in Arizona and recent attempts to secure the passage of laws restricting access to abortion. Both issues have generated legal and constitutional challenges which this research will seek to document.
Student A is required to complete data collection on abortion laws, lawsuits and history of sex education.
Student B is required to compile a literature review on the history of sex education on the US and identify oppositional tactics by activist groups in Arizona.
Students will be working for a total of 37 hours each from Oct. 21st, 2019 until Dec. 6th, 2019.
Training and support will be provided.
