£28,000 - £32,000 a year

Our Client is an international leader offering a range of services to the hospitality and facilities sector. Our client currently operates across Europe and the Americas, with in excess of 400 production sites. Currently we are looking to recruit an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer for the Southampton site.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will report directly to the Engineering manager on site. As the focal point for all maintenance n site you will provide effective engineering support in terms of planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and remedial works at the site equipment and buildings in Southampton.

We are looking to speak to Electrically biased Maintenance Engineers based in or around Portsmouth who are looking to develop effective working relationships across all levels of the business. On a day to day you will be providing quality engineering across all maintenance and engineering projects coupled with day to day breakdown coverage. Other tasks will include the preplanned maintenance, equipment updates, new installations and upgrades.

This role of maintenance engineer is a shift based role, working 4 on 4 off, as such flexibility as the pattern is site specific and their may be a requirement of on-call work to provide cover for emergency breakdown and shutdown periods.

To be considered for this role you will have a recognised qualification and be skilled in both electrical and mechanical engineering. You must possess at least 17th Edition electrical qualifications and be well versed in electrical/mechanical installations. Electrical Fault finding and an analytical approach will be required.
