Assistant Transport Manager

Manpower are now recruiting an Assistant Transport Manager to support one of our clients growing business in Birmingham.

The role includes assisting the Management of drivers and the fleet of 20 vans which operate 7 days per week.

Duties

* Scheduling routes, liaising with customers

* Assisting with vehicle inspections

* Running reports and extracting driver data

* Covering drivers when needed (Sickness/Holiday)

* Supporting the transport manager

* Ensuring Drivers comply with Tachograph regulations

* Liaise with warehouse staff

* Management of Accidents and Investigations

* C1 and CPC qualified (Will accept C2 but reflected in salary)

* Confident and focused on the phone

£25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience - Overtime available at 1.5x
