Great opportunity for an experienced Development Engineering to work for our client based in Garswood!! Do you have a Degree equivalent? do you have two years' experience working in Civil Engineering? Have you worked in the civil engineering Construction sector?

If you have worked and dealt with excavation shoring equipment, propping and jacking, groundworks equipment, and formwork and falsework systems? (desirable) If so, this could be the perfect position for you!!

The main Purpose of the role is to Continue the improvement of the company's product offering and provide technical support to other departments.

Key responsibilities in the role are to Develop individual project proposals through research innovation, estimating, programming and reporting.

Manage individual approved development projects in accordance with department procedures.

As required carry out research, development, calculations and testing for product development.

Update the product data catalogue and ensure technical data sheets and user guides are updated in a timely manner.

Update maintenance and inspection procedures and ensure the engineering function if aware of current codes and legislations.

Supervise production of manufacturing drawings using digital technology.

Comply with relevant legislation relating to the design, manufacture and build of company products.

Product development proposals in accordance with business requirements

Comply with SHEQ policies and procedures and ensure documents / forms are kept up to date.

Regular reporting of progress against targets to Development Engineering Manager

Ensure product development is produced with safe designs, schemes, method statements and risk assessments in accordance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.

Continuous improvement of product information including maintenance procedures, technical data and user guides
