Stevedore Supervisor

Are you an experienced supervisor with a thorough understanding of stevedoring?

Would you be after a permanent position that is a varied and challenging one, where no two days are truly the same?

Manpower seek to appoint such a person that will oversee the supervision of the Port's stevedoring operations during stowage & unloading of vessels and the general operations within the port warehousing.

The successful candidate will most likely become part of the flexible workforce which means learning all parts of the operations to enable you to work in other areas of the business when required.

Working at heights and experience of heavy lifting would be beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided.

This is predominantly a day shift position; however, you will be required to work shifts when necessary, as our client operates seven days per week including night shifts & Bank Holidays, therefore you will need to be flexible to suit business needs. Overtime will also be required to cover the needs of the business.
