An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client, the powerhouse behind TRESemme, VO5, Toni&Guy and Dove, are currently seeking an Assistant Technical Marketing Manager, for their Hair R&D team. The role will be based at their prestigious R&D facility in Port Sunlight. This is a full-time temporary role fpr 6 momths, 37.5 hour week, paying up to £29,771 depending on experience.
Job Description:
The Hair Global R&D Development Centre based in Port Sunlight is the home of development for the next generation of a range of hair products for some of the world's most recognisable brands, such as TRESemme, Toni&Guy, Dove, TIGI, Lynx, V05. This role is an amazing chance to be part of the team that crafts product claims and stories for our advertising and product packaging.
What You'll be Doing:
- Deliver outstanding communication ideas for our hair products and brands
- Gather technical support for product claims and stories on multiple projects
- Develop new methodologies and tools to help the team become even better in the future
- Work with brilliant, inspiring and diverse global teams
- Be the crucial link between global and local marketing, technical & legal teams to balance and manage different needs and desires
- Create striking films, visuals and live demos that bring technologies and innovations to life
- Understand the desires of our consumers in order to connect with them in brand tone-of-voice
Your Skills and Experiences:
- Great people skills; building and maintaining relationships with an ability to be persuasive and assertive when necessary
- Preferably a degree in a physical or social science. Some chemistry background would be great; curiosity in the latest innovation and technology is essential.
- Claims, consumer research and/or product development experience
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret data to pull out key insights
- Project management and problem solving
