Shovel Driver

Manpower are looking for a Shovel Driver to work for a Waste Processing company based in East Yorkshire. The company requires the highest levels of efficiency and productivity in its waste processing operations. Our client wants to obtain maximum value from the waste by extracting recycling materials that can attract value or reduce disposal cost through its waste processing plant.

As a Shovel Driver you will load and manage the performance of the SRF and RDF Line to ensure we are working to the highest levels of safety and operational output.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working as a Shovel Driver.

• To ensure that the line is operational at all times and starts at the required time
• To ensure throughput is maximised with the highest level of tonnage throughput is maintained throughout the day
• The achieve and exceed KPI targets on a daily basis
• To manage the documentation associated with performance measurement
• To deliver ongoing and routine maintenance of equipment to minimise downtime and ensure maximum performance
• To deliver the highest levels of personal safety performance

The role is Physically demanding so required is a good standard of health.

The role will sometime need the flexibility of out of hours services to ensure maximum usage of the processing plant.

On offer is a salary of £20,446

Working hours will be 07:00- 18:00 4 days per week .Working pattern Monday to Friday and every other Saturday Morning on a rota system.
