We are currently recruiting for an Auto Electrician to join an outstanding company that deliver bespoke, highly-skilled engineering services.

You will need the ability to read electrical wiring plans and you will be involved in Vehicle Preparation and fitting of the electronics equipment. You will also carry out checking and testing of wiring and vehicle parts along with fault finding and rectification work.

Responsibilities:

• Fitting electrical components
• Modifying electrical circuits
• Design electrical circuits and wiring diagrams.
• Vehicle Preparation and fitting of the electronics equipment
• Testing of the wiring and vehicle parts
• Rectification work and fault finding
• Interpret electrical wiring plans and diagrams

Essential Experience:

• Previous experience of Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in vehicles
• Checking and testing of the wiring and vehicle parts
• Knowledge and experience of electronic systems e.g. (Electronic ignitions, alarms immobilisers and tracking devices.)
• Electric windows, mirrors, seats tow bar electrics and air-conditioning.
• Customised LED or neon lighting kits, parking warning systems and reverse cameras
• General and Task Management
• Self-Management
• Quality & Environmental
• Educated to HNC HND Standard or equivalent
• 17th Edition Electrical Certificate is (desirable)
