My client based in the south coast, are a well-established firm within building services. Specialising in architectural, design, building surveying, industrial, commercial and retail leisure and defence.

Key responsibilities

As an Associate Mechanical Building Services Engineer you will be the Technical Lead for the Mechanical Engineering team and will be responsible for mentoring junior members of staff across the practice. You will need strong leadership qualities and you must be able to manage resources, potentially across a multi-disciplinary team, in order to meet numerous project deadline.

In this role you will act as technical lead for relevant discipline

Lead engineer for various commissions with project and resource management responsibility

You will monitor and improve profitability of commissions

You will build and develop relationships with existing and new clients

You will support and assist the directors and partners in identifying and pursuing commissions lead and business development opportunity.

To develop and mentor the building services Engineering team to ensure that each member is reaching their full potential

To succeed in this role, you will need to be fully qualified with relevant experience (BEng OR BSc or equivalent). You must hold a full UK driving licence.

You will work closely with directors and senior members of staff.
