Purpose & Objective of Position

In that context, the Marketing function within SAP Digital Commerce is responsible for facilitating a customer-centric, end-to-end, digital customer journey - from awareness to nurture - that simplifies doing business with SAP. We do this in close collaboration with teams across our organization, developing a multi-discipline and integrated marketing mix that spans initiatives like social, PR, events, paid media and content marketing. Through this, are pioneering digital marketing tactics in support of online commerce (both for SAP and our ecosystem), while making relevant connections to corporate marketing and communications priorities.

Expectations & Tasks
As part of our SAP Digital Commerce Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to gain broad insight into a variety of marketing and communications functions and contribute to the team's efforts, while enhancing the program with your unique experience in graphic design and/or social media.

Your tasks will primarily comprise the following:
*Editing, reviewing and proofreading a variety of communication output from blogs and tweets to press releases and presentations
*Assisting with design of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, social posts, tweet cards, and other design-related activities
*Participating in Customer & Partner Reference Program, including tracking outreach to customers and partners, interviewing contacts to learn about their success using SAP Digital Commerce sites, drafting stories, editing video testimonials, obtaining approvals and assisting with publishing on internal SAP marketing & sales systems
*Working with other teams across SAP, such as SAP Next -Gen, SAP.iO and SAP Experience Centers, to coordinate involvement of SAP Digital Commerce in their activities
*Event and trade show support
*Team collaboration/coordination - use of internal collaboration tools
*Tracking campaigns to ensure effectiveness, and also recognition of the team effort

Skills / Competencies
*Strong communication and project management skills
*English, grammar and editorial skills required. Ability to edit technical as well as public relations-related documentation and collateral, adhering to proper grammar, spelling, usage, punctuation and AP style
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel), PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and video editing programs like Camtasia or Videolicious a plus
*Highly motivated and self-driven team player
*Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines

Educational Requirements
*College/University degree required, preferably in applied sciences in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, public relations, business administration or an equivalent discipline
*2-3 years related work experience desired, work samples will be requested as part of the interview process; a writing test may also be adminstered

Qualifications
*Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
*Strong writing, editing and speaking skills (writing samples encouraged for application)
* Videography, photography and video editing a plus
*Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
*Outstanding work ethic and positive attitude
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign)
*Highly organized and task-oriented
*Excellent critical-thinking skills
*Knowledge of SAP solution offerings
*Familiarity with all aspects of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for business (or class-related projects that included these) and personal use
*Ability to collect and analyze data
