Deskside Support Engineer II
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue-chip IT company, is currently seeking a Deskside Support Engineer II based on their customer site in Uxbridge. This is a full-time, temporary role to start ASAP, running until 31st December 2019, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm. The role is paying £15.77 per hour (Ltd Contractor/Umbrella).
Job description
We are looking for a Deployment Engineer who has some experience with Windows 10 and is familiar with deployment tools to join our client's team on their customer site in Uxbridge.
Essential skills/qualifications;
- Proven Service Desk/help-desk experience - strong customer facing skills - both face to face and telephone based.
- Understanding of Intel based PC's.
- Imaging PC's and laptops, Building desktops and laptops for new installation.
- Installing and removing programs or software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft desktop office applications.
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- A high level of customer focus.
- Understanding of Microsoft Exchange E-mail and Office 365.
Desirable skills/qualifications;
- Previous experience of Windows 10 Deployments would be advantageous.
- Basic network knowledge including TCP/IP and broadband.
- SCCM application deployment.
