Warehouse Operatives

Manpower are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for one of the UK's oldest independent tyre retailers.

As a Warehouse Operative you will ensure that the receiving, storing, picking and loading of tyres is efficient and timely. You will be required to assist with deliveries, un-loading and loading of tyres onto vans. From time to time you may be required to fill in for absent drivers.

Warehouse Duties

• Ensuring warehouse is kept clean & tidy
• Unloading / loading tyres
• Ensuring tyres are stored in correct locations
• Complying with Health & Safety standard

Suitable candidates will have:

• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Clean driving licence preferred
• An ability to provide excellent customer service
• An ability to load and unload tyres manually
• An ability to follow instructions accurately
• An understanding and commitment to health & safety rules and regulations
• A flexible approach to daily tasks
• Good communication skills
• An eye for detail and accuracy
• Enthusiasm, energy and a true team player
• Good understanding of basic IT

This is a temp to perm role with immediate starts working 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday, Saturday (Compulsory) 8am - 12.30pm, paying £8.21 per hour Monday - Friday and £12.32 Saturday.
