This Business Analyst opportunity is with a major Mechanical and Electrical Engineering company. This particular position is based in their Kildare site.
The role of the Business Analyst is to assist the business teams in modelling processes and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement (process Mapping)
Your main responsibility will be to liaise with business stakeholders and users to understand the existing planning and manufacturing of business requirements.
- Develop and maintain software integrations.
- Assist with support requests and queries.
- Administration of production, test and development environments.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs, both infrastructure and application.
- Develop new and improve existing application functionality including report development.
- Automation of current processes where possible using tools and utilities.
- Required Education/Professional Qualifications:
- IT related Degree or equivalent work experience.
Personal attributes require a self-starter that is disciplined, organised and thorough, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
You will also need to have excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment while building good relationships.
The role requires someone that has a good working knowledge of SAP and as the role may involve some travelling you will need to be a car owner with a full clean Driving Licence.
