Field Service Technician

Manpower are currently recruiting for a Field Service Technician for a leader in the industrial cleaning sector. This role is a full-time permanent position and will be based in Bedford.

The Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be servicing a variety of equipment and parts for industrial clients across the South East of the UK.

Day to day, you will spend the majority of your time attending scheduled service visits and reactive fault repairs on various equipment on clients' premise. During these visits, you will also spend some of your time upselling new machines or extending service contracts. You will also be asked to make some calls to booking appointments, speak to customers about the products etc.

Salary & Benefits

In this role, your base salary will be £20,466 however, with uncapped commission, the expected OTE for this role is £32K!

Your holiday entitlement is 20 days annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays. You will also be given access to a company mobile and a branded 3.5 tonne van.

Full training is provided for this role. You will undergo a 3 months induction period which will include the opportunity to receive sales and machinery training and "ride outs" with experienced colleagues.

Key Skills & Attributes

To be a successful Field Service Technician, you will need the following skills and attributes:

• Be comfortable and confident with some heavy lifting. You will have lifting gear to assist.
• Experience in a manual role would be beneficial
• Experience driving 3.5 tonne vehicles such as a long wheel based van
• A C1 license would also be beneficial
